How It Works

WALK WITH JESUS.
WALK IN PURPOSE.

Way Groups are small, discipleship-driven communities meeting throughout Myrtle Beach and Surfside Beach. They’re designed to help you grow as a follower of Jesus through meaningful relationships, biblical discussion, prayer, and living on mission together. We believe real life change happens in community—and that God will impact our city through people being formed into Christ’s likeness and sent out to serve.

OUR PASTOR

DEREK PRICE

Pastor Derek and his wife Haley are passionate about seeing people come to know Jesus and helping them live out their God-given purpose. With years of experience in leadership, teaching, and ministry, they are excited to plant a life-giving church in Myrtle Beach, where people from all walks of life can encounter Jesus, grow in authentic community, and step boldly into their calling. They live in Myrtle Beach with their two sons, Luke and Jude, and are excited to see lives, families, and communities transformed by the hope and power of the gospel.

I HAVE KIDS...
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

At The Way Church, we want to provide caregivers with the opportunity to immerse yourself fully into worship and God’s Word. You are welcome to keep children with you, or we have an incredible children’s program where your kids can engage in their own age appropriate worship, stories, crafts, games, and other activities that teach them about Jesus. We provide Sunday morning childcare for ages 3 months through 5th grade.

"This church is like a family. And when we get together and pray or fellowship with each other, there is a powerful connection, not only with each other, but with God, our Father.  I’m pretty sure this is the way they felt in Acts 2, of one accord."
